From performance Conversation between Grand Piano and Canvas
at Reykjavik Art Museum- Hafnarhus, September 22nd 2013.
Under improvised music by Eydís Heena Evensen Sigrun drummed the colors on the canvas for 45 minutes creating the painting
Forest in Vietnam. |
The progression of the painting was projected on a screen during
the performance. The performance was held in connection with
the exhibition Video 1975 - 1990 where Sigrun showed
Dawn, a video installation from 1986.
